Primus, a brand-new high-speed electric scooter from Ampere, was presented at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Ampere Primus receives a family-friendly/conservative body design. The scooter's large floorboard, long single-piece seat, LED headlight, and proportions resemble traditional petrol scooters.
Engine and Hardware
A 3kWh LFP battery from Ampere bikes is connected to a 3.4kW motor in the Primus. Ampere Primus creates a combined braking system for both wheels using front and rear drum brakes.
The Primus' highest claimed range in Power mode is 107 kilometers, and its top speed is 77 kilometers per hour. Three riding modes are available on the Primus: Eco, City, and Power. Primus' battery takes up to five hours to charge.
The Primus electric scooter has dual rear shocks and telescopic front forks for stability, and drum brakes with CBS are used for stopping. It has tubeless tires on 12-inch alloy wheels. For three years or 30,000 miles, Ampere warranties the engine, battery, and car.
Features
It has a smartphone-compatible LCD console with readouts, including an odometer, speedometer, low battery indicator, charging level, and clock. The e-scooter has an Ampere LED headlamp and a halogen tail light. For added convenience, a USB charging port is also included.

The Ampere Primus costs Rs. 1.46 lakh (Ex-showroom). There is just one Ampere Primus version available: STD.
