Overview

Four electric scooters are available from Mumbai-based startup BGauss Electric. According to the manufacturer, the D15 is their performance-driven flagship electric scooter with useful daily features. The e-scooter is also an Indian-made automobile. This brand-new electric scooter has a classic appearance enhanced by contemporary features. Two D15 electric scooter models will be available: the D15i and the D15 Pro.

Engine & Hardware

The BGauss D15 motor produces 1500 W of power. The BGauss D15 creates a combined braking system for both wheels with front and rear drum brakes. The 3.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack powering the electric scooter has a range of 115km on a single charge. It is recharged entirely in five and a half hours.

The D15 is constructed on a tubular steel frame supported by twin, 3-step preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers and telescopic front fork—drum unit brakes at both ends. The bike has alloy wheels 16 inches fitted with tubeless tyres. The e-scooter has a 765mm seat height, 175mm ground clearance, and a kerb weight of 109kg.

Features

Full LED lighting, an LCD screen, smartphone connectivity, a detachable battery, a built-in navigation system, a digital speedometer, keyless entry, a USB connector for charging mobile devices, and notification alerts are among the features of the D15.

Additionally, the scooter has two ride modes: Eco and Sports. Additionally, the business will provide annual maintenance assistance, mobile app assistance, roadside assistance, and pick-up and drop-off services.

Colors

There are five color options for BGauss D15 - Alpine green, Pearl white, Racing red, Glistening Blue, and Matte Black & Silver.

Price

The starting price for the BGauss D15 in BGauss showrooms in Delhi is Rs. 1,04,553. The top-tier BGauss D15 model costs Rs. 1,17,624.

Rivals

In the Indian market, the BGauss D15 faces off against the Okinawa OKHI-90, Ola S1, Ather 450X Gen 3, Revolt RV 400, TVS iQube Electric, and the Odysse Hawk.
