BMW has revealed the F 850 GS abroad. Redesigned adventure motorcycles feature an improved headlamp and fresh colors. Their new 40 Years Limited Edition livery is also included. Motorcycles don't get powertrain or suspension changes, only cosmetic and feature updates.
As its name implies, the BMW F850 GS Adventure is based on the F850 GS. Additionally, the Adventure suffix is not used for branding. It gains more capabilities that enable off-road use. The F850 GS Adventure has revised bodywork but looks comparable. The bike also has wind deflectors, a higher windscreen, upgraded radiator shrouds, an expanded luggage rack, and an engine guard. In addition, it has a broader front, "beak."
Engine And Hardware
The BMW F850 GS is powered by an 853cc BS6 engine that produces 93.87 horsepower and 92 Nm of torque. The BMW F850 GS has anti-locking brakes and front and rear disc brakes. This F850 GS motorcycle weighs 233 kg and has a 15-liter fuel tank.
The motorcycle is supported by spoke wheels with dual-purpose rubber tires measuring 21 inches in front and 17 inches in back. The F850 GS Adventure's suspension hardware has been tweaked to provide additional travel. The rear mono shock offers 215mm of suspension travel compared to the 230mm provided by the inverted forks. Regarding the powertrain, there is no distinction. The 860 mm seat height offers an adjustable feature for a more comfortable riding experience.
Features
The F850 GS Adventure has two riding modes, traction control, automatic stability control (ASC), and ABS features. A 6.5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth functionality and LED illumination for turn signals, headlamps, and tail lights are all included with the motorcycle.
Colors
The F850 GSA has two color options: Triple Black and Light White. The 40-year-old Edition of the GSA version has also been withdrawn for 2022, just like the standard F850. Even the Ice Grey and Black Storm Metallic colors have been eliminated.
Price
BMW F850 GS starts at Rs. 12,94,918 (ex-showroom price). It comes in two variations, with the top variation starting at Rs. 13,74,909.
