BMW Motorrad has upgraded its lineup in India by introducing the C 400 GT, its latest maxi-scooter. Bookings for this brand-new model from the German firm are currently open throughout India. It will be sold as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
Engine and Hardware
The 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine in the updated BMW C 400 GT is calibrated to produce a maximum of 33.5bhp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum of 35Nm at 5,750 rpm. CVT gearbox connected to the motor. The top speed is 139kmph, and BMW Motorrad claims an acceleration time of 9.5 seconds from 0 to 100kmph. BMW C 400 GT is equipped with front and rear disc brakes. The gasoline tank on this C 400 GT scooter holds 12.8 liters of fuel and weighs 214 kg.
A tubular steel frame, telescoping front forks, and two spring struts at the back make up the C 400 GT's hardware. Twin front discs and a single rear rotor handle braking chores, and ABS is the safety net. The scooter's tires measure 15 inches up front and 14 inches behind. The scooter is designed for riders of different heights, making it comfortable with a seat height of 775mm.
Features
The BMW C 400 GT has a muscular appearance and features an apron-mounted headlight, a tall windscreen, a step-up saddle, and a tall windscreen. The scooter has Keyless Ride, two glove compartments, a flex case under the single-section seat, a twin-pod LED headlight with LED daytime running lights, and integrated LED turn indicators. The 6.5-inch full-color TFT screen, Bluetooth enabled, displays ride-related information. Riders can scroll through functionalities using the BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller. The C 400 GT includes a center and side stand.

There are two color options for the BMW C 400 GT – Style Triple Black and Alpine White.

BMW C400 GT has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 10,74,904. The only variant of the C 400 GT is the C 400 GT STD.
