On the Indian market, BMW Motorrad has released the latest 1250 GS model. Only the Pro variant of the motorcycle is offered, and it has many features. The company also changed its mechanical requirements to meet the latest emission standards.
ENGINE & HARDWARE
A 1,254cc, two-cylinder Boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam technology powers the BS6-compliant R 1250 GS. It generates 134bhp at 7,750 rpm and 143Nm of maximum torque at 6,250 rpm. The BMW R 1250 GS has anti-locking and front and rear disc brakes. 20 liters of petrol can be stored in a 249-kg fuel tank on the R 1250 GS.
The motorcycle's suspension system consists of a BMW Motorrad Paralever (mono-shock) at the back and a BMW Motorrad Telelever arrangement (telescopic forks with a central spring strut) upfront. On the front wheel, there are two discs, and at the back, there is just one rotor. The R 1250 GS has alloy wheels instead of the Adventure model.
FEATURES
The styling features include a robust design with an asymmetric headlight, a beak-style front, and a changeable windscreen. Full LED lighting, an adaptive headlamp, keyless entry, heated grips, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT color display, a 12-volt outlet, and a USB charging interface are all standard equipment on the motorcycle. A traction control system, adaptive cruise control, ABS Pro, three ride modes (Eco, Road, and Rain), and hill-start assistance are some of the technological rider aids.
COLOR
The BMW R 1250 GS comes in four colors: Style triple black, Style Rallye, GS Trophy, and Light white non-metallic.
PRICE
The BMW R 1250 GS is priced ex-showroom at Rs. 20,79,745 Lakh. There is only one R 1250 GS variation, the R 1250 GS Pro BS6.
