The latest F900 XR keeps the 895cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant motor that produces 92Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm and 103.2bhp of power at 8,500 rpm. The BMW F900XR has an anti-lock braking system and front and rear disc brakes. The gasoline tank on this F900XR bike holds 15.5 liters of fuel and weighs 219 kg. The manufacturer claims a top speed of over 200kmph and a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 3.6 seconds.
The gear consists of upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono shock to perform suspension duties. At the front, there are double disc brakes, and at the back, there is only one rotor. The 180/55 rear tubeless tires and 120/70 front tubeless tires are mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels. It has a seat height of 825mm and comes with a wheelbase of 1521mm.

Full-LED lighting, a 6.5-inch full-color TFT screen with Bluetooth functionality, a 12-volt plug, ABS, traction control, riding modes pro, keyless entry, engine brake control, adaptive cornering lights, and heated grips are still available on the feature list. The motorcycle also gains additional functionality thanks to the available packs. Headlight Pro, Daytime Riding Lights, and Gear Shift Assist Pro are included in the Dynamic package. Riding Modes Pro, Dynamic Engine Brake Control (MSR), Heated Grips, Dynamic Traction Control, ABS Pro, and case holders are included in the Active package, in contrast.
