Hero Electric unveiled the upgraded Nyx electric scooter in India. The Hero Electric Nyx is primarily a B2B-focused electric scooter with an ample wheelbase, storage space, and a simple look. This EV is also available for private purchase. It comes in two variations. The top speed of the E5, which is part of the Comfort Speed (LX) series, is 25 km. The HS500ER, on the other hand, belongs to the company's City Speed (CX) line and has a top speed of 45kmph.
Hero Electric NYX HX - ENGINE & HARDWARE
The 600/1,300-watt motor of the electric scooter claims a top speed of 42 km/h. The 51.2V/30Ah (double battery) ranges 165km on a single charge and can be recharged in up to five hours. It needs to be registered because it is a high-speed scooter. In contrast, its slow-speed counterpart does not require registration. Telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers coupled with a swingarm are used as suspension components on the NYX HX. 10-inch alloy wheels with drum brakes at both ends are included.
The 600W/1,200W BLDC hub motor that powers the Hero NYX is powered by a 48V/28Ah battery. Hero Electric specs advertise a riding range of 85km on a single full charge, with a top speed of 25kmph.

The back seat of this scooter can be folded upright to provide room for more luggage, which is one of its intriguing features. When securing extra baggage, the three-sided grab rail is functional. While the floorboard has enough capacity for gear, the dual split seats provide comfort for the rider and the pillion. It has a large floorboard, a glove box, underneath seats, and other storage space.
