Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is the Indian branch of Honda Motor Company, Japan, established in 1949. HMSI has existed since 1999 and is headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. Honda has four manufacturing plants in India: Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Gujarat.

Honda established its first facility in Manesar in Gurgaon district of Haryana. To meet the increasing demand for Honda bikes in the Indian market, Honda set up its second production plant in Tapkara in the Alwar district of Rajasthan.

Honda SP160

Honda has introduced the SP160 as a premium commuter motorcycle, enriching its lineup with a sportier alternative to the well-established Honda Unicorn. The SP160 has a comfortable ground clearance of 177 mm and a manageable seat height of 796 mm.

The bike's braking system consists of a 276 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc or 130 mm drum at the rear, depending on the variant. The SP 160 has a comprehensive 80/100-17 tubeless tire at the front and a 130/70-17 tubeless tire at the rear. The Honda SP160 ensures stability on the road, further enhanced by its single-channel ABS feature.

Honda Dio

This scooter underwent revisions and has maintained its presence as an entry-level scooter in the Indian market for a considerable time.
