The engine has a slim aluminum perimeter frame, long-distance upside-down forks at the front a mono-shock at the rear, and petal-shaped disc brakes at both ends. Additionally, there is a small digital console and a rental aluminum handlebar. The KLX450R seat height is 935mm. The 8-litre fuel tank capacity of this KLX450R motorcycle supports a curb weight of 126 kg.
