OVERVIEW

In Okinawa's India product lineup, the Ridge Plus is just above the Ridge. The indicators are located on a horizontal slab on the front cowl of the Ridge Plus. This vehicle has a sporty headlamp on the front apron instead of a vertical one. It comes with two dual-tone color options and alloy wheels as standard. The lithium-ion battery for the electric scooter is also detachable for simple charging.

ENGINE & HARDWARE

The Okinawa Ridge Plus has a removable 60V/26 Ah lithium-ion battery and an 800-watt, BLDC waterproof motor with a peak output of 1200 watts. Through an automated transmission, power is transferred to the braking system. The Okinawa Ridge Plus has a 120km range on a single charge.

The telescopic fork suspension at the front and a double shocker with dual-tube suspension at the back support the electric scooter's strengthened high-tensile steel chassis. The 10x3.0 section tires on the electric scooter have drum brakes at both ends.

FEATURES

The newly released Okinawa Ridge Plus variant has electronic ABS as standard equipment. Additionally, it has keyless entry, find my scooter, geo-fencing, immobilization, secure parking, maintenance/service reminders, driving scores, and central locking with an anti-theft alarm system. Ridge Plus features a digital instrument cluster with a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and other useful displays. Halogens power both the headlamp and the taillamp.

Okinawa Ridge Plus is offered in a dark blue and orange/grey mix.

The Okinawa Ridge starts at Rs. 90,606.

RIVALS

In terms of feature sets, Hero Electric, Okinawa R30, Okinawa Ridge 100, Joy e-bike Gen Nxt and Yo Bikes both have electric scooters to offer. However, Okinawa Ridge Plus doesn't face much competition in the Indian market.
