The latest entry-level Tiger family model has been introduced to the Indian market as the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport. The brand-new Tiger 850 Sport has a competitive retail price and intends to draw in existing customers to the brand.
Engine and Hardware
Although the updated Tiger 850 Sport produces substantially less power and torque than the Tiger 900 series, the mechanical specs are similar. Compared to the Tiger 900 series' 93.9 horsepower and 86.7 pound-feet of torque, the Tiger 850 Sport's 888cc, inline, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generates 84 horsepower and 82 pound-feet of torque. The 20-liter fuel tank for this Tiger 850 Sport motorcycle weighs 192 kg.
The suspension functions are carried out by 45mm upside-down Marzocchi front forks and preload-adjustable Marzocchi rear monoshock. Brembo Stylema four-piston monobloc calipers are mounted on dual 320mm rotors at the front and a single 255mm disc with a single-piston sliding calliper at the rear of the vehicle.
Features
ABS, a switchable traction control system, and two riding modes—road and rain—are among the technological rider aids. Full-LED illumination, a colour TFT display, and a USB charging connector are further luxury features.
Colors
There are two colour options available: graphite with Diablo red or graphite with Caspian blue.
Price
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport costs Rs. 11,95 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi.
Rivals
Competitors of the Tiger 850 Sport include the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift, Moto Guzzi V85 TT, Triumph Speed Twin 900, BMW F 900 XR, Ducati Multistrada V2, and others.
