In Vespa India's lifestyle scooter lineup, the SXL 125 is the more expensive variant of the VXL 125. It has a classic look that complements the vintage appeal of the Italian brand. The rear-view mirrors and rectangular-shaped headlamp features differentiate the SXL from the VXL. Though, the hardware is the same for both scooters.

The 124.45cc BS6 engine powering the Vespa SXL 125 produces 9.65 horsepower and 10.11 Nm of torque. The Vespa SXL 125 features a dual-wheel braking system with a front disc and rear drum brake. The SXL 125 scooter has a kerb weight of 115 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 7.4 liters.
Features
Vespa scooters BS4 version had no modern features as they were designed to look vintage. However, the company included a full-LED headlamp, USB charger, and under-seat lights with the BS6 upgrade. The instrument cluster has a digital display and an analog speedometer. The front suspension comprises a single sidearm, and the rear suspension comprises a hydraulic mono-shock. The 11-10-inch wheels set for the Vespa SXL 125 are shod with durable 110-70 and 120-70 section tubeless Maxxis tyres.
Like the rest of Vespa's scooter series, the SXL 125 is built on a single-piece steel monocoque chassis. The 125cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine on the Vespa SXL 125 BS6 produces 9.7bhp and 9.6Nm, 0.3bhp and 0.4Nm less than the BS4 carburetted motor. It is mated to CVT transmission.
