Yamaha R15S - Overview
The Japanese bike company has introduced the R15S with a light blue color scheme. The range of the new bike will be between Metallic Red and Racing Blue color variants. The Yamaha R15S was moved to India on 21 September 2021. This bike's frame adopts a box-shaped cross-section, enabling a more cross-section surface area, lighter weight, and high rigidity.

The Yamaha R15S is a 155cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine with four valves and a high-up camshaft and stroke, and the bore is 58.7 mm. The Yamaha R15S engine is to produce 18.1 bhp and 14.5 Nm of torque.

The Yamaha R15S feature list includes a multi-function LCD instrument cluster with a gear-shift indicator, dual-channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch, and a side stand indicator with an engine cut-off function. Braking hardware includes single discs at both wheels. The bike gets an LCD display with basic information like speed in km/h, fuel gauge, two trip meters, reserve trip meter, and odometer. However, by 2016 standards, it is technologically behind as it lacks a clock and gear position indicator. It also gets the same switchgear as the previous versions.
