Overview
Yamaha India Motor Pvt. Ltd. recently announced the launch of Aerox 155 with a Traction Control System. The maxi-sports scooter is the first scooter in India to feature TCS in its segment. In addition, IYM also announced the launch of 2023 variants of its premium range of two-wheelers, including MT-15 V2, R15 V4, and R15S, with class-leading features and brand-new color schemes.
Engine and Hardware
It is powered by a new generation 155cc BS6 engine that generates power of 14.75 bhp and 13.9 Nm torque. Mated to a CVT transmission, the liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor produces a max power output of 15 PS at 8,000rpm with 13.9 Nm of peak torque delivered at 6,500rpm. This scooter comes up with an anti-locking braking system. This maxi scooter bike weighs 126 kg and has 5.5 liters fuel tank capacity.
Features
The scooter comes with premium features such as LED headlights with LED spot lamps at the front, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a multifunction key, a push bottom start and stop system, a side-stand engine cut-off function, and a single -Channel ABS. With this variant's launch, customers can choose between a Bluetooth (Wi-Connect) equipped variant and a non-equipped (Wi-Connect) variant. This variant will retain features like dual-channel ABS for added safety.
Colors
This scooter is available in only one color, which is white and black.
