Engine and Hardware
Yamaha R15 V4 has a 155 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine gives rise to a maximum power of 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and a top torque of 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist, slipper clutch, and quick shifter. Upside-down front forks handle the suspension duties, while the rear gets a link-type mono-shock.
Features
The assist and slipper clutches of the bike have been adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide less stress shifting during deceleration. A&S helps in reducing rider fatigue. It also prevents imprudent engine braking, thus reducing its upshot on chassis conduct. The A&S clutch makes for smooth, pleasant downshifts.
