- CBR250R receives superior suspension.
- Launched in Malaysia with the revised instrument cluster.
Honda opted not to update the SuperSport to comply with the new BSVI emission norms; hence the CBR250R was formally discontinued in the Indian market. There is currently no launch date for the Honda CBR250R in India, as it is doubtful that Honda will bring the CBR250 back to our market soon.
Honda CBR250R: New Update
Honda has revised the quarter-liter engined motorcycle CBR250R. In addition, the firm has updated it for 2023 with new functionality and subtle cosmetic modifications.
Due to the introduction of the motorcycle to Malaysia by a local subsidiary of Honda, these modifications only apply to that market. As a result, Showa is now offering separate function forks for the front of the CBR250R. This will undoubtedly enhance the handling and ride quality of the bike. In addition, the motorbike now gets an updated instrument cluster and a gear position indicator, but the general design remains the same.
A 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine produces an output of 23.4Nm, and 27bhp powers the CBR250R. However, even though the curb weight of the bike is only 144kg, these stats may not seem particularly spectacular.
The price of this updated CBR250R in Malaysia is close to Rs 4 lakh. However, the CB300R is available for the Indian market, so Honda will not offer the CBR250R here.
