Gogoro Electric Scooter Gogoro, a ride-sharing firm that built its battery-swapping network, will reveal its ambitions for India on November 3. Last year, the business disclosed ties with two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp. Both businesses sought to introduce electric scooters and bikes using battery-swapping platforms in India. Gogoro has had significant success in Taiwan.

Taiwan-based electric scooter maker Gogoro is preparing to enter the Indian two-wheeler industry and will hold a press conference on November 3 to discuss its plans. The announcement shouldn’t surprise you because Gogoro and Hero MotoCorp have already partnered to build vehicles and vehicle swaps infrastructure.

Gogoro offers a variety of low- and high-speed electric scooters to overseas markets, and its USP is a strong battery swapping network, with most models having removable battery packs. Gogoro’s native market in Taiwan has had great success with this strategy, and the business plans to use it in India as well. However, there currently needs to be more information about what Gogoro’s strategy could be.

Gogoro may consider offering ready-made B2B goods for last-mile delivery applications, noting that the company’s literature also intends to “decarbonize the last-mile area.” In addition, Gogoro is expected to provide B2C products for individual customers.
