Ultraviolette F99 Electric Bike Unveiled

The F99 Factory Racing Platform, a high-performance, a fully customizable electric bike built specifically for racing, was unveiled by Ultraviolette.

  • Riders can customize the Ultraviolette F99 factory racing platform to a great extent.
  • It has a motor that produces 50 kW (65 bhp), which gives it a top speed of 200 kmph.
  • It includes many racing-specific components, including aerodynamics and carbon composite materials.

At the 2023 Auto Expo, Ultraviolette unveiled an all-new concept electric motorcycle platform. The F99 factory racing platform is a highly customizable idea intended only for track racing. The F99 combines aircraft design and racing principles to create India’s first fully electric motorsport machine.

Ultraviolette co-founder and CEO Narayana Subramaniam talk about the F99 at the debut event at the 2023 Auto Expo. He added, “The racing world is incredibly difficult because it challenges a vehicle to be pushed beyond its limits, which drives innovation.

We were inspired by the F99 factory racing platform to look beyond standard EV technology. We plan to introduce the world’s most advanced electric vehicles by combining aviation and racing. Ultraviolette’s F77’s innovative technology and market-first features are to thank for the F77’s popularity. We will continue to set the pace for technological advancement in the EV industry.

We aspire to lead global innovation, given that India produces the most advanced battery and powertrain technology. Said Neeraj Rajmohan, co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolet.

Ultraviolette F99 Electric Bike

The Ultraviolette F99 produces a peak output of 50 kW, or about 65 bhp, thanks to a significantly faster drivetrain than the factory racing platform F77. Thanks to the electric bike motor, so that the bike can reach a top speed of 200 kmph. Ultraviolette has also put in other aerodynamic components, such as the faceplate, winglets, and aero-disc, to reduce drag on the rear tyre, making it track-ready.

There are many more improvements in this motorcycle as compared to the F77. To begin with, the motorcycle is largely covered in carbon composite material. Modern battery technology is another feature of the motorcycle. It gets dual-channel Bosch ABS and hydraulic disc brakes.

The front brake uses four radial pistons, while the rear brake uses a single floating piston. Additionally, it gets a slim, firm rider’s seat and, predictably, no pillars. Additionally, the motorcycle features adjustable ergonomics for a rider’s triangle to accommodate riders of different heights.
