Honda’s XRE 300 Rally is the only motorcycle showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, as the Japanese automaker has decided to skip the event this year. The Honda XRE 300 Rally is being showcased at the Auto Expo and is currently available for purchase in Brazil as a flex-fuel vehicle, with India also set to follow.
Honda XRE 300 Rally Flex Fuel: Engine and Specs
The 291.7cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that powers the Honda XRE 300 Rally can run on ordinary fuel and flex-fuel (petrol-ethanol), producing 20 to 85% (e20 ) mixed with ethanol content. The 13.8-liter petrol tank of the XRE 300 is enormous.
When powered by petrol, the Honda XRE 300 Rally produces 27.06Nm at 7,500 rpm and 25.05bhp of maximum torque. The Honda XRE Rally produces 27.45Nm at 6,000rpm and 25.24bhp maximum torque at 7,500rpm with ethanol blend fuel. The XRE 300’s chain drive and 5-speed gearbox transmit power to the rear wheel.
Honda XRE 300 Rally Flex Fuel: Features
The Honda XRE 300 Rally measures 1,215mm in height, 838mm in width, and 2,195mm in length. When it comes time to venture off the beaten path, the XRE 300 Rally’s 1,417 mm-long wheelbases and 259mm of ground clearance come in handy. The seat is 860 mm off the ground.
The suspension system of the XRE 300 Rally’s semi-double-cradle frame allows for a lot of top speed. The XRE300’s ride is handled by telescopic forks at the front with 245mm of travel range, while the monoshock at the rear gets 225mm of range.
The spoke wheels of the Honda XRE 300 Rally get a 21-inch unit at the front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear.
Disc brakes at both ends work for the Honda XRE 300 flex fuel. The front disc of this Honda adventure motorcycle measures 256 mm, while the rear disc measures 220 mm. ABS provides brake assistance.
The Honda XRE 300 Rally gets a beak-like nose, a high seat, and an upward-facing exhaust, standard features of adventure bikes. The Honda XRE 300 Rally also gets a TFT instrument panel and full LED lighting all around.
