The 2023 M 1000 RR, the newest and most potent sport model offered by BMW Motorrad, has been released for the Indian market. It is, as its name implies, a sportier variation of BMW’s S 1000 RR, a model that is quite popular in the liter class. Here are the features of the M-version.
The 2023 BMW M 1000 RR has an aggressive, track-focused appearance. There are two trim levels available: Normal and Competition. Prices start at Rs. 49,00,000 for the former and Rs. 55,00,000 for the latter from the showroom in Delhi. As a result, the M 1000 RR is currently the most expensive BMW motorcycle. It has a body reminiscent of the S 1000 RR, but it also has winglets, carbon wheels, and BMW’s distinctive M-themed paint job.
BMW M 1000 RR: Engine and Features
An inline, four-cylinder engine with 999cc and outputs of 211bhp and 113Nm powers the M 1000 RR. A bi-directional quick shifter and a slip-and-assist clutch are included in the six-speed gearbox the motor is connected to. The M 1000 RR’s peak speed is 314 kilometers per hour, according to BMW Motorrad. The bike’s extensive array of rider aids keeps all this power under control. It has seven ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro 1, 2, and 3), ABS, traction control, slide control, steering stabilization, cruise control, drop sensor, hill start, and more. Then there is the M-trim, which has a billet pack, carbon rear fender, aero wheel cover, air box cover, BMW endurance chain, GPS lap trigger, and more.
The M 1000 RR front forks have a rebound, compression, and preload adjustments, and the rear mono shock has the same features. Two 320mm front discs and one 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS make up the bike’s braking system. The 17-inch carbon wheels of the M 1000 RR.
