TVS has patented a new name for its Apache motorcycle, RTX. Based on the fact that the first two syllables are identical to the RTR range of motorcycles. The new bikes with 160cc, 180cc and 200cc models will likely be based on these platforms.
Sundaram Clayton Limited has trademarked a new TVS motorcycle name, as well as the ‘RTX’ brand name could also be the start of a new range of motorcycles, perhaps a new adventure bike or a new cruiser motorcycle for which patents have already been filed have gone.
It is said to have a bigger engine which people don’t know is part of TVS Motors and has recently applied for the Apache RTX name, which could be the displacement. Although, there is no official confirmation.
Highlights:-
- Sundaram Clayton Limited filed the trademark for ‘TVS Apache RTX’ in India.
- Apache RTX could be the name of a new variant, motorcycle, or technology.
- TVS also filed a patent for a new cruiser earlier this year.
TVS is working on many products, and the company may launch some next year. These are just speculations about the upcoming motorcycle TVS Apache RTX name being used for the RTR 310. There is little to tell from these trademark filings, but they give us a glimpse of the future model name; as far as the mystery of the Apache RTX is concerned, it will be resolved.
