Ducati Multistrada V4 S

Ducati is back with a new motorcycle called the Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour. The Italian firm’s Multistrada has been a hit since it was first released 20 years ago. But its latest V4 iteration has made the model more robust.

The 2024 Ducati world premiere began in July with the introduction of the all-new 2024 Monster 30°Anniversario Edition. Now, the second episode of the brand’s annual unveiling event has been unveiled. The 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour targets motorcyclists traveling long distances.

Other Ducati models joining the standard V4, V4 S, V4 Rally, and V4 Pikes Peak are the new V4 S Grand Tour. As you’d expect, it’s all about traveling long distances with reasonable comfort built on the solid foundation of the V4 S. Adding additional features to make it more comfortable, safe, and easier to live in.

  • Based on the Multistrada V4 S with a similar electronics kit and wheel size.
  • The total volume of 60 liters comes with side panniers providing a warm grip.
  • It features a rigidly mounted handlebar on the steering head and a heat shield on the swingarm.
  • Lowering the Skyhook semi-active suspension setup at low speeds or while stopped.

Ducati Multistrada V4: Engine

The 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour is powered by a 1,158-cc V4 Gran Turismo engine. The engine produces 170 bhp of maximum power and 125 Nm of peak torque.

Like all Ducati bikes, road tests of other models show that this is a fantastic motor, delivering smooth and progressive power wherever you are in the revs. Several other changes have also been made to the upcoming bike to make it more flexible and capable but still fun, making it perfect for a proper two-up tourer.

Ducati Multistrada V4: Features

The Ducati Multistrada V4 features a 6.5-inch TFT-LCD with smartphone mirroring and navigation. The IMU-based cornering ABS, Easy Lift function, traction control, and keyless start system. Auxiliary LED lighting with cornering lights, and wheelie control. Additionally, the bike features a Vehicle Hold Control and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Ducati Multistrada V4: Price and Rivals

At present, Ducati has no project to launch this bike in India. But soon it will be launched in India, so only information about the bike has been given. The price of this bike abroad is close to the V4 Rally, which has an estimated price of Rs 29.72 lakh in India. This makes the bike more affordable than the sporty Pikes Peak variant, which is priced at Rs 31.48 lakh.

In terms of rivals, BMW has not yet launched the 1300 GS; the Top rivals are the BMW R1250 GS, Suzuki Hayabusa, Harley-Davidson Fat Bob, and Aprilia Tuono Factory. For now, the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer are the only competitors in India.
