TVS Motor Company has launched the new TVS Apache RTR 310, and the new streetfighter is based on the flagship TVS Apache RR 310, but the RTR 310 has several notable changes in segment-first features.

The Apache RTR 310 is one of the most feature-packed motorcycles available in the Indian market, with optional kits that can be customized to suit your needs. It has many differences from its sibling Apache RR 310. Here’s a look at the differences between the RTR 310 and the RR 310.

RTR 310 VS. RR 310 Specifications

The RTR 310’s 312.12 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine remains the same as the RR 310. However, some changes have also been made in the exhaust, intake, and airbox internals. The RTR produces a unique sound and slightly more powerful torque than the RR310.

The engine of Apache RTR 310 produces 35.08 bhp and 28.7 Nm torque. In comparison, the engine of TVS Apache RR 310 produces 33.5 bhp and 27.3 Nm of power. The maximum capacity of the Apache RTR 310 is 1.6 bhp more than the RR 310, while the peak torque is 1.4 Nm more.

RTR 310 VS. RR 310 Electonic

The Dynamic Kit and Dynamic Pro Kit unlock other features on the Dynamic Kit, such as adjustable front and rear suspension. The Dynamic Pro kit included lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, and cruise control systems through race-tuned Dynamic Stability Control (RTDSC) operated by a 6-axis IMU. The RTDSC also provides wheelie control, stoppage control, and slope-dependent control systems. You have the option to equip your vehicle with these safety features.

RTR 310 VS. RR 310 Design & Features

Both TVS bikes are good in terms of style and features. However, the RTR 310 has a distinct design with a sharp and sporty silhouette. The bodywork has sharp curves, and the bike’s sports stance underlines its streetfighter appeal. The split LED headlight automatically regulates throw and brightness based on bike speed and ambient lighting conditions. The sharp tail section features a dynamic twin tail light that adapts to braking intensity and gives a red warning to those behind during short braking.

RTR 310 VS. RR 310 Chassis & Dimensions

The TVS Apache RTR 310 and RR310 have the same steel trellis frame, but their bolt-on aluminum rear subframes differ. The RTR 310 is also a light bike curb weighing 169 kg, while the RR 310 weighs 174 kg.

The RTR 310 also gets fully adjustable KYB suspension as part of the Built to Order customization program, where customers can select two kits with more features. The Dynamic Kit is priced at Rs. 18,000, and the Dynamic Pro Kit is priced at Rs. 22,000 extra. The saddle height of the RTR 310 is slightly less than 800 mm, while the saddle height of the RR 310 is 810 mm. The wheelbase of the RTR 310 is also shorter at 1358 mm compared to the 1365 mm wheelbase of the RR 310.

RTR 310 VS. RR 310 Price

TVS Apache RTR 310’s base variant is Rs. 2.42 lakh (ex-showroom price Delhi). Whereas the base variant of TVS Apache RR 310 is Rs 28,000 more expensive, i.e. 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom price).
