Bajaj Motorcycle has recently launched the Bajaj Pulsar N150. After this, they are planning to launch Pulsar in the 400cc segment. According to Bajaj Auto CEO Rajiv, Bajaj has confirmed the launch of its biggest Pulsar to date but has not given any specific details about the motorcycle.

We had earlier assumed that the upcoming flagship. Pulsar would cater to the 400cc segment, and our prediction has come true after some time.

As the name suggests, the biggest Pulsar will be a naked streetfighter. High-end quarter-liter Pulsar siblings – N250 and F250.The report indicates a possible launch in Q2 2024. The latest media reports have revealed that Bajaj Bikes will launch its flagship. Pulsar sometime next year, and it will be called the NS400.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Expected Details

According to sources, we expect that the design of the upcoming NS400 will be similar to the Pulsar NS200. Let’s talk about the design of this upcoming bike. It may have a sporty design, with sharp styling of the tank shroud at the front and a sleek tail section. Most of its dimensions will be similar to Pulsar NS200 except for weight.

The NS400 will be based on the same architecture as the NS200. The platform will be strengthened to handle the additional displacement and output of the engine. With the added mass to support the architecture, the upcoming Pulsar NS400 will be lighter than the Dominar 400, which weighs 193 kg.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Expected Engine

Currently, Bajaj manufactures three engines for the 400cc motorcycle market. The Dominar 400 uses the old 373cc liquid-cooled unit. The latest motorcycle launched by Triumph to generate 398cc liquid-cooled power is the newly launched KTM 390 Duke which is powered by the first-generation 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled. According to sources, there is every possibility that Bajaj will opt for the existing Dominar engine for the upcoming flagship Pulsar.

This single-cylinder liquid-cooled mill produces 39.4 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque. The engine of the motorcycle is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which features a slip and assist clutch. Similar to the NS200, the upcoming bike Pulsar NS400 is expected to have high-end components and front suspension.
