Around Diwali 2023, the first Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle will be introduced in the Indian markets. Most recently, Triumph’s sales and servicing operations in India were taken over by Bajaj Auto. Another test vehicle for the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler has been spotted in India.

It is powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a 300 to 400 cc displacement. Unlike the RE Himalayan, we can expect similar performance numbers to the KTM 390 Adventure. The DOHC architecture, which would suggest four valves per cylinder, is supported by the cylinder head design.

The side covers on the engine are similar to those on Triumph’s twin-cylinder Bonneville model. Still there and fitted on the finished vehicle is the dual barrel exhaust system.

The headstock and downtube are formed from a single piece, as seen in the close-up picture. The rear subframe of the Bajaj Triumph will be bolt-on. There are many indications that this motorcycle’s official introduction and launch are not far away. How much displacement of the engine of this bike will affect the price? It will likely be similar to the KTM 390 Adventure. When launched in India, you can expect it to be priced at around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
