1. Triumph Bonneville Bobber

The starting price for a Triumph Bonneville Bobber cruiser bike in India is Rs. 12,35,000. There is only one variant and four colors offered. The 1200cc BS6 engine that powers the Triumph Bonneville Bobber produces 76.9 horsepower and 106 Nm of torque. Triumph Bonneville Bobber has anti-locking brakes and both front and rear disc brakes. The petrol tank on this Bonneville Bobber bike can hold 12 liters and weighs 251 kg.

In our market, Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced the 2023 Bonneville Bobber. Red Hopper, a new paint option that joins the current palette, gives the 2023 edition a design update. The new color will be sold along with the currently available paint options, including Jet Black, Cordovan Red, and Matte Storm Grey with Matte Ironstone.

The color schemes impact Bonneville Bobber’s ex-showroom prices. Jet Black is the least expensive color on the list, while Matte Storm Grey with Matte Ironstone is the most costly. The latest iteration of the Bonneville Bobber continues to have a round headlight at the front, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank with a chrome filler cap, and a rider-only saddle. Twin exhaust canisters with slash-cut designs and wire-spoke wheels. The styling cues, feature list, and mechanical specifications are identical to the 2022 version.

The motorbike is propelled by a 1,200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that complies with BS6. The motor is adjusted to have a maximum output of 76.9 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm when connected to a six-speed gearbox. 47mm Showa front forks, a rear mono-shock, twin front discs with Brembo calipers, a single rear disc with Nissin calipers, and 16-inch wheels are all part of the equipment. The features are full LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and an assist clutch mechanism. 

2. BMW R 1250 GS Adventure

Adventure bikes like the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure start at Rs. 22,50,000 in India. There is only one variant and four colors offered. The 1254cc BS6 engine that powers the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure produces 134.1 horsepower and 143 Nm of torque. Anti-locking brakes feature the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, which has both front and rear disc brakes. The R 1250 GS Adventure bike has a 30-liter fuel tank and weighs 268 kg.

BMW Motorrad in India has released the BS6-compliant R 1250 GS Adventure. Only the Pro version of the motorcycle is offered and will be sold alongside the basic R 1250 GS. The motorcycle’s most recent model has a 1,254cc, two-cylinder Boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam technology that complies with BS6. The motor, connected to a six-speed gearbox, generates a maximum torque of 143Nm at 6,250 rpm and 134bhp at 7,750 rpm.

Similar to the standard R 1250 GS, it has rough stylistic features such as an adjustable windscreen, a front with a beak-like shape, and an asymmetric headlight. However, the Adventure model has wire-spoke wheels that accommodate tubeless tires and a 30-liter fuel tank. A storage compartment, wider extended footpegs, an adjustable foot brake lever, an adjustable gear lever, tank crash bars, and more LED fog lights are all included with this variant.

Full-LED lighting, an adaptive headlamp, keyless entry, heated grips, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT color display, a 12-volt outlet, and a USB charging interface are among the amenities that are similar to those of the basic R 1250 GS. A traction control system, adaptive cruise control, ABS Pro, three ride modes (Eco, Road, and Rain), and hill-start control are included in the electronic rider aids. Weighing up at 268kg is the R 1250 GS Adventure.

It is propelled by a 1200cc BS6 engine that produces 105 Nm of torque. And 78.9 horsepower. Triumph Bonneville T120 is equipped with anti-locking and front and rear disc brakes. The gasoline tank on this Bonneville T120 motorcycle can hold 14.5 liters of fuel and weighs 236 kg.

According to an announcement from Triumph Motorcycles India, the 2023 Bonneville T120 will go on sale in our market. The Indian market offers a single variation and four colors of the retro-style motorcycle’s 2023 generation.

The newly introduced Aegean Blue with Fusion White paint theme has been added to the upgraded color palette, joining Jet Black, Cordovan Red with Silver Ice, and Cobalt Blue with Silver Ice. Jet Black is the most economical paint theme, with a single-tone finish. The other paint selections are more expensive than the Jet Black color and have a dual-tone finish.

The 2023 model only receives styling improvements in the shape of a new color scheme. The specifications, functionality, and styling are all still the same. Thus, the 1,200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant engine is still present in the 2023 Triumph Bonneville T120. The motor is configured to produce 78.9 horsepower at 6,550 rpm and 105 Nm of maximum torque at 3,500 rpm when connected to a six-speed gearbox

Round headlights, a teardrop-shaped gasoline tank with an asymmetrically positioned chrome filler cap, a one-piece seat, and dual-side exhaust canisters are all features of the design. The motorcycle’s components include:

4. Honda Africa Twin

The 1082cc BS6 engine that powers the Honda Africa Twin produces 97.89 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque. The Honda Africa Twin has anti-locking brakes with both front and rear disc brakes. The African Twin motorcycle’s gasoline tank can hold 24.5 gallons of fuel and weighs 239 kg.

To compete with the Ducati Multistrada V4 and the BMW R 1250 GS in our market, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports. The motorcycle has two gearbox options: a six-speed manual and a dual-clutch transmission. This motorbike will be imported through the Completely Knock Down route and sold through Honda’s exclusive Big Wing Topline shops.

In both variations, the 1,082.96cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine produces 103Nm maximum torque at 6,000 rpm and 98bhp power at 7,500 rpm. Six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), ABS, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control), and Bluetooth connectivity are included in the feature list. Four standard riding modes—tour, urban, gravel, and off-road—and two user-adjustable (USER 1 & 2) settings are provided for both MT and DCT models. Additionally, both versions come equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Semi-fairing style, a tall windscreen, twin-pod headlights, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), cornering lights, wire-spoke wheels that accommodate tubeless tires, and a 24.5-liter fuel tank are all still present. The two variations can be separated visually based on their available color schemes. Available in Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, the Dual Clutch Transmission. On the other hand, the manual transmission is offered in the Pearl Glare White Tricolor design. 

5. BMW R18

The starting price for the BMW R18 cruiser bike in India is Rs. 19,89,024. It comes in 3 colors and three variations, with the top variant starting for Rs. 24,00,000. The 1802cc BS6 engine that powers the BMW R18 produces 158 Nm of torque and 89.84 horsepower. The BMW R18 has an anti-lock braking system and front and rear disc brakes. The 16-liter petrol tank on this R18 motorcycle weighs 345 kg.

The R18 is the sole cruiser offered by BMW Motorrad. Months before revealing the final production model, the business has begun giving us glimpses of the bike in various concept versions. The production iteration isn’t much different from the design and looks just as stunning, so the wait was worthwhile.

A massive 1,800cc boxer-twin engine powers the motorbike, the most extensive boxer-twin BMW has ever fitted to a production bike. It is air and oil cooled. It produces 158Nm at 3,000 rpm and 91bhp at 4,750 rpm. Riding in the city and highway should be enjoyable because most of that performance is supplied between 2,000 and 4,000 RPM at the lower end.

The R18 has many features, making it a typical BMW model. Like other international markets, BMW has debuted the R18 in India in all three models. The variations between the Standard, First Edition, and Classic trims are primarily cosmetic. The bike is priced from Rs. 19.90 lakh to Rs. 24 lakh (ex-showroom). Specifically, the Harley-Davidson Softail models present its biggest competition.

6. BMW R NineT

The base price for India’s BMW R nineT cafe racer bike is Rs. 18,50,000. There is only one variant and four colors offered. The 1170cc BS6 engine that powers the BMW R nineT produces 107.28 horsepower and 116 Nm of torque. The BMW R nineT has an anti-locking system and front and rear disc brakes. The 18-liter gasoline tank on this R nineT motorcycle weighs 221 kilograms.

The BMW R nineT’s standard design is a vintage roadster that draws on the company’s history in motorsports. In addition to having a twin-pod instrument cluster, a large fuel tank, a split-style seat, and road-biased tires, the motorcycle has a circular headlight up front. At 221 kg, the bike reaches the top of the scale (curb). The Scrambler is designed to resemble a scrambler, as suggested by its name. In addition, this model has a split-seat design, a tail lamp on the license plate, and high-set dual exhausts.

The motorcycles have a new semi-digital instrument cluster, full LED illumination, an adjustable clutch, brake levers, and USB charging ports. Two riding modes, “Rain” and “Road,” Automatic Stability Control (ASC), ABS Pro, and Dynamic Brake Control, are among the electronic rider aids (DBC).

A 1,170cc, air and oil-cooled, two-cylinder Boxer engine with 107.2bhp power at 7,250 rpm and 116Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm are among the technical features of the 2021 BMW R nineT series. The gearbox has a six-speed motor attached to it. 200 km/h top speed and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.5 seconds, according to BMW Motorrad.

The base model’s suspension system consists of a rear mono-shock and front forks positioned upside down. Right-side-up telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock serve as the suspension components for the Scrambler model. Twin rotors up front and a single disc at the back are responsible for anchoring.
