Yamaha has introduced its FZ-15 motorcycle to the Brazilian market. This motorcycle’s ability to run on both ethanol and gasoline is one of its main selling points. In addition, the corporation has made a number of significant adjustments to give its exterior and design a more modern appearance. In South America, this motorcycle is known as the Fazer FZ-15; however, the revised version of this model may be sold in India under the designation FZ V3.
2023 Yamaha FZ-15: Design, Color
It now has redesigned headlamps on the outside that resemble those on the larger FZ25 motorbike marketed in the Indian market. Nevertheless, it keeps up the hulking fuel tank design treatment with fake air vents, a stubby exhaust, and a one-seat layout. The bike does, however, come with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 tires as standard equipment. Three new color options have been added for 2023: Racing Blue, Midnight Black, and Magma Red.
2023 Yamaha FZ-15: Engine, Specs
The fuel tank size has been reduced to 11.9 L, but the business has also updated the bike with slightly improved ground clearance. It should be noted that its single-cylinder, 149 cc engine has the ability to run on ethanol in addition to gasoline or petrol. 12.2 bhp and 12.7 nm of torque are produced by the engine thanks to tuning. The bike still uses its original 5-speed transmission for transmission functions. Nevertheless, the 2023 FZ-15 retains the same brake and suspension design as the outgoing model. It has 17-inch wheels and is the same weight at 135kg.
Price and Rivals
The bike may be introduced sometime in 2023, although there is no formal assurance that it would be available in India any time soon. If true, it will restart competition with 150cc bikes in India like the Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and Bajaj Pulsar N160.
