The pricе of this bikе is above 2 lakh.
The x440 is powered by a single-cylinder 440cc air/oil-cooled engine that runs on MRF tyres with a vintage-style tread pattern. The bike is the best option for those from middle-class families looking to buy a premium-class motorcycle within their budget. Exciting to know about Harley-Davidson X440? Here is everything you need to know.
X440: New Design
The Harley-Davidson X440 borrows its design from the XR1200X designed by Buell. Harley works on the X440 for a better body style with a heavy fuel tank capacity, a perfect-sized side panel, and a single extended seat. The Harley-Davidson X440 gets a retro look with circular headlamps, tail lamps, and square tail lamps with LED lighting.
X440: Three Variants
The Harley-Davidson X440 cruiser launched in India in three variants — Denim, Vivid, and S. All three variants of the X440 share the same design, engine, and hardware. But there are some areas in all these three types which differ from each other.
- X440 Denim-
Harley-Davidson X440 Denim is the base model. The model gets the LED headlight, but instead of the 3D logo like the S trim, there are stickers on the fuel tank. Also, it rides on spoke wheels with tube-type tyres instead of alloy wheels with tubeless. Harley-Davidson has offered a TFT screen with the X440 Denim but no Bluetooth compatibility.
- X440 Vivid-
The second variant in the series of x440 is Vivid. The Harley-Davidson X440 runs on Vivid alloy wheels, but it, too, gets stickers instead of 3D badging. The wheels on the X440 Vivid don’t have a diamond-cut finish. It also lacks smartphone connectivity like the denim variant.
- X440 S-
The third variant, S, gets all the features, including a matte black paint scheme with orange highlights. The ‘S’ variant features a TFT screen with smartphone connectivity that gives turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call answer and reject, and access to the phone battery. It also has a bronze-finished engine cover and diamond-cut finish alloy wheels.
X440 Price
Harley Davidson has priced the base variant of X440, Denim, for Rs 2.29 lakh, the Vivid variant for Rs 2.49 lakh, and the top variant S for Rs 2.69 lakh. Though the X440 is Harley’s most affordable bike in terms of price, it is very high compared to the competitors, whose prices range from Rs 1.93 to 2.35 lakhs (ex-showroom prices). The X440’s top rivals are Royal Enfield Classic 350, Scram 411, Honda CB350, and Yezdi Roadster.
X440 Colors
Harley-Davidson offers X440 in four color options – Mustard Denim, Metallic Thick Red, Metallic Dark Silver, and Matte Black. The matte black color is a classic choice that will never go out of style. The mustard denim color is a bit more dressy, but it’s still versatile and can be dressed up or down. Metallic ruby red is a bold and vibrant color.
