The new Honda 100cc bike will launch in March and compete with the Hero Splendor. Lastly, a 100cc engine will power this commuter bike.
After launching the top-tier Honda Activa 6G with the keyless feature, Honda motorcycles are back with something fresh. In fact, as per the block-your-date invite of March 15, 2023, it is the much-awaited 100cc commuter bike from the company. We can also speculate from the invite that this motorcycle could be a scaled-down version of the Honda Shine, known as the Honda Shine 100.
Honda Shine is a well-known brand among the general public and is the best-selling 125cc bike in India. Honda could use Shine’s popularity to market a smaller 100cc Shine, targeted to arrive and sell alongside the Shine 125, which is still the most popular motorcycle in India today.
Honda New 100cc Bike Launch
We still don’t know what this mystery motorcycle is or what it will involve, but soon we’ll have the answers we’ve been looking for. Honda’s CD110 Dream Deluxe, priced at Rs 71,133, is the most affordable motorcycle available now, while the entry-level drum-brake model of the Hero Splendor Plus costs Rs 72,076.
On the other hand, Hero HF100 is one of the cheapest 100cc bikes with a price tag of Rs.56,968. (All ex-showroom). Hence Honda will price it competitively, probably in the Rs. 65,000 Rs. 70,000 area. Apart from Splendor and HF 100, it will compete with Bajaj Platina 100.
