Kawasaki Z900 unveiled

Kawasaki has unveiled its 2024 line-up for the international markets. The Z900 has been one of the more affordable middleweight street naked. We hope we see the 2024 iteration on our shores soon, with the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer already offering this motorcycle in our market.

The Kawasaki Motorcycles introduced the Z900 and Z900 SE in the US – the latter now listed on the Kawasaki USA website with the 2024 iteration benefits from Ohlins-sourced suspension and Brembo calipers, all set to launch in India in the coming months.

Kawasaki Z900 New Colors

For highlights, the Kawasaki Z900 is listed in two paint options on the company’s US website. The color palette includes Metallic Spark Black with Andy Persimmon Red and Metallic Matte Dark Gray with Ebony. Meanwhile, the styling remains unchanged, and the 2024 Z900 Z retains the H2-inspired design.

Kawasaki Z900 Hardware

The Kawasaki Z900 model in India will be tuned to comply with the E20 fuel requirements. 

Dual-channel ABS is standard, handled by 41mm upside-down forks with rebound damping adjustability at the front and a mono-shock with rebound damping and pre-load adjustability at the rear. The Kawasaki Z900 has dual 300 mm petal-style disc brakes with four-piston calipers and a single 250 mm petal disc brake with single-piston calipers.

Kawasaki Z900 Engine 

The Kawasaki Z 900 is powered by an inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled 948cc engine that generates maximum power of 123.64 bhp and peak torque of 98.6 Nm. This kerb weight of the Z900 is 212 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters.

The launch details of the 2024 Kawasaki Z 900 are not available yet. However, we can expect the Z900 to launch in India by the end of this year. The price of the updated model may be higher than the current model’s price. 9.11 Lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
