Yamaha Motorcycles is the best two-wheeler manufacturer in India and keeps bringing updates in motorcycles. The way Yamaha has recently named its upcoming bike Yamaha Tenere 700 World Red. The Tenere 700 was first showcased as a concept at EICMA in 2021, a new and luxurious version. The new ‘World Red’ model promises to be an even better off-roader than the standard model. This is a notable performance update.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Engine Details

Even today, Yamaha Bikes holds the same place in people’s hearts as its other motorcycle models. Inspired by the same, the Ténéré is equipped with a 689cc, cross-plane twin-cylinder engine that produces 72hp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 68Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Due to the new add-on, the curb weight bike is 16 kg more than the standard model.

Regarding features, the MT-07 is an excellent supersport bike powered by a CP2 engine. It has a 5.0-inch color TFT display with mobile connectivity. In comparison, the standard model gets a simple LCD. Other features include three-mode switchable ABS but no navigation.

For starters, the Yamaha Tenere features dual side-mounted fuel tanks, with a total capacity of 23 liters and a total range of over 500 km. In comparison, the standard model gives a range of 350 km with a 16-litre fuel tank.

Front Suspension What makes it more interesting is that the ground clearance of the new bike is 10 mm, which is 250 mm higher, and the seat height is 15 mm taller, i.e., 890 mm, from the standard 875 mm.

Other key features include a new KYB upside-down front fork with 230 mm of travel. Additionally, the bike has an adjustable rear mono-shock with 220 mm of travel, along with the bike’s new Öhlins adjustable steering damper and rally-inspired two-piece seat. Due to the latest add-ons, the weight of the bike is 16 kg more than the standard model.
