The FTR Sport has been replaced by the FTR S in the Indian motorcycle’s FTR lineup. Another new model from the company is the limited-edition Challenger Elite, which is available in only 150 units globally and will be sold outside the US. 2023 Indian Motorcycle FTR Sport
The FTR Sport is above the FTR and FTR Rally but below the high-end FTR R Carbon. The brand published a color docket of the 2023 lineup, which includes several new color possibilities and paint schemes for the FTR and FTR Sport on the newly designed tank cover. All four FTR variants get a new sports exhaust muffler and a fine-tuned front braking system.
The FTR Sport gets sporty components like a seat cowl, chin fairing, and attractively styled number plate. It also features a new tank panel design and comes in either white with red and black metallic accents or black metallic with red accents.
For 2023 the FTR Sport, FTR Rally, and FTR R Carbon have added three new riding modes—Sport, Standard, and Rain—as well as a 101mm round touchscreen display operated by Ride Command. Lean angle-sensitive stability control and ABS help in smoothening the ride.
All four FTR variants get a redesigned sport exhaust muffler, retuned front braking for better visibility, and even a higher speedometer. It will be a new add-on in double silencer bikes in India. The FTR R Carbon offers carbon fiber components, a premium seat, fully adjustable Gold front forks, and a gold piggyback shock. The FTR Rally sits on 19 and 18-inch spoke wheels wrapped in knobby tyres.
2023 Indian Challenger Elite
With its blue and black accents, the 2023 Indian Challenger Elite is a limited-edition badger that makes a strong impression. It has a PowerPlus engine with 120.6 horsepower and 178 Nm torque rating. Its features include three selectable ride modes, electronically adjustable rear suspension preload, innovative lean technology, adaptive LED headlight, LED driving lights, adjustable flared windscreen, heated grips, and 165mm powerband audio with saddlebag speakers. Ride-enhancing technology. Only 150 units of the unique Challenger Elite are available globally.
