The new Kawasaki Ninja 400 BS6 has been officially announced ahead of its premiere in India on June 24, 2022. The ex-showroom price of this new superbike in India is expected to be under Rs 5 lakhs.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400, Z400 Revealed
The Euro-5/BS6 compatible Ninja 400 was recently introduced by Kawasaki in the European markets. The Japanese new bike is now coming to India just days after making its international premiere. The new 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 BS6 will be unveiled in India on 24th June 2022.
As of December 2019, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 was available for purchase in India. However, the new BS6 emission norms that came into force in April 2020 prevented it from continuing, so it was canceled. It is now making a comeback in the Indian market after a break of about 2.5 years, albeit in an advanced form.

Kawasaki Ninja Z400 Launch Globally
Along with the Ninja 400, Kawasaki has also revealed the launch of the Z400 model. This bike will soon be available in India. For now, the Kawasaki Z400 has been launched globally in the Euro 5/BS6 version. The bike is powered by the same 399cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 43.5PS power and 37Nm torque.

Kawasaki Ninja 400 Colors, Specification, Rivals
In 2022, the Ninja 400 will be available in India and other regions with the new Lime Green with Ebony and Carbon Gray with Spark Black color schemes and redesigned graphics. A 399cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, FI engine power this sports bike.
At 10,000 rpm, this motor produces 44.3 bhp power, and at 8000 RPM, it reaches a maximum torque of 37 Nm. The 6-speed gearbox to which the engine will be connected will also include a slip and assist clutch. The bike will have mono-shock absorbers at the rear and telescopic forks at the front. It will get dual-channel ABS and disc brakes for braking duties.
Coming to the rivals, the best 400cc bikes segment has the Benelli Imperiale 400, the Bajaj Dominar 400, and the KTM RC 390.
