Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR vs Ninja ZX-4R

A number of new bikes have just been introduced to Kawasaki India’s inventory. Of those, the Ninja ZX-4RR and ZX-4R are currently two of the most expensive 400cc motorcycles available in India. What distinguishes these motorcycles, though? Let’s compare the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR and ZX-4R to see how their power, suspension, and adjustability differ, which affects both their pricing and performance.

Engine

While both models have a 399cc four-cylinder engine and a six-speed gearbox, the Ninja ZX-4RR produces 80 horsepower and 39 Nm, while the Ninja ZX-4R produces 77 horsepower and 37.6 Nm. There is not much of a power difference between these variations.

Hardware

The Kawasaki 4RR variant features a connected rear mono-shock with preload adjustability, 37mm front forks with Separate Functions, and Big Piston Front USD forks. Conversely, the 4R has a mono-shock and SFF-BP forks, although none of them are adjustable.

Features

Both bikes have the same features, the same braking system, and the same overall appearance. You get slightly more power, adjustable springs, and a different paint job on the Ninja ZX-4RR for the higher price.

Price

Both Kawasaki bikes are only available in one color scheme: the Ninja ZX-4RR is painted lime green with KRT markings, which gives it a very appealing and sporty aspect, while the 4R is covered in black, which gives it a stealthy appearance. The Ninja ZX-4RR is available for Rs. 10.25 lakh, while the Ninja ZX-4R is priced at Rs. 9.58 lakh. Thus, the RR trim comes at an additional cost of approximately Rs. 60,000-70,000.
