KTM 390 Duke Goes Official

KTM has officially unveiled the 2024 Duke 390 for the global market, marking the third generation iteration of this iconic motorcycle, with several updates that open up new possibilities for the bike. This latest version comes with several updates both visual and mechanical. The Duke 390 has received a major update, which includes an all-new design, chassis, engine, instrument cluster, and updated electronics.

2024 KTM 390 Duke Unveiled 

The new 390 Duke is the ultimate single-cylinder engine motorcycle in India. He said it is worth noting that new entrants in this segment will have to support themselves with heritage badging. We are talking about the Harley Davidson X440 and the Triumph Speed 400, Both motorcycles come with similar specifications, and the Speed 400 has more power to take on the 2024 KTM 390 Duke.

KTM gets a slipper clutch, a bi-directional quick shifter, and a 6-speed gearbox. But the new and improved 2024 390 Duke also has several new electronics. This is not a new thing, it was also a part of the existing 390 Duke. Additional features are launch control and three riding modes (Rain, Street, and Track).

2024 KTM 390 Duke Engine

KTM has taken the performance game up a notch. The new KTM 390 Duke has a 399cc engine that gives more performance than the old 373cc unit. Unlike the old engine’s 42.9 bhp and 37 Nm, this new engine generates 44 bhp power and 39 Nm torque. The increase in displacement should also improve in-gear performance.

New Design

The overall design of the new generation naked motorcycle KTM 390 Duke displays a more significant and impressive appearance. The fuel tank cover on the Duke is wider, protruding more than the previous model and providing a more aggressive look. The new generation Duke 390 gets wider LED headlamps with boomerang-shaped DRLs.

New Features

For the first time, KTM offers launch control on the Duke 390 including three ride modes (Street, Rain, and Track). The bike also features turn-by-turn navigation, a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, and Bluetooth. Connectivity for call and music controls. The advanced display allows riders to manage ride modes.
