Features

The design idea of Aprilia RS457 is taken from RS660. If we talk about its design, it has a split LED headlight over which there is a small visor that is integrated into the front fairing. Then, there are small ducts with wing-like structures on the side fairings below the headlights. In comparison, the RC 390 gets an instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, lean-sensitive ABS, quick-shifter traction control system, and lean-sensitive ABS.

Engine

The Aprilia RS is powered by a 457cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that makes 47bhp and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. For reference, the new KTM RC 390 has a 373cc single-cylinder that generates a max power of 42.9 bhp and a torque of 37 Nm.

Rivals

Aprilia Bikes has yet to launch this bike in India. Once that happens, the RS 457’s rivals will be the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, TVS Apache RR 310, and the upcoming Yamaha YZF R3.

Other 400cc Models in India

As two-wheelers and motorcycles are becoming popular choices in India, manufacturers are also updating their displacement ranges. As enthusiasts look for affordable and versatile two-wheelers, 400cc motorcycles have gained popularity for their ideal balance of power and practicality.

These mid-sized bikes offer an excellent combination of performance, fuel efficiency, and maneuverability, making them suitable for city commuting and highway riding. Brands like Royal Enfield, Bajaj, and KTM offer attractive options in this segment, catering to the different preferences and needs of riders.
