KTM Unveiled New Brabus 1300R Motorcycle

The KTM Brabus motorcycle was unveiled in February 2022. It was offered in two colors and was limited to 154 units. The KTM has unveiled another edition of the motorcycle called the BRABUS 1300 R Masterpiece Edition. It also has a limited production run of 290 motorcycles, all of which have been sold.

The Brabus 1300 R is based on KTM’s 1290 Super Duke R Evo. The motorcycle will be offered in two colors: Onyx Black and Diamond White. Both colorways come with Frozen Gold accents and a Carbon package.

Brabus 1300 R: Style

The 1300 R Masterpiece Edition differs from the superbike Duke on which it is based with a modern and attractive appearance. If we talk about the design of the Brabus 1300 R, it features a muscular tank, a circular LED headlight, a heated leather seat, a side fairing made of carbon fiber with large winglets, gold-finished wheels, and more.

In addition, the limited-run model features specially developed 17-inch Brabus Monoblock Gold Platinum wheels manufactured using CNC technology. The front and rear tires on the wheels measure 120/70 R 17 and 200/55 R 17.

Brabus 1300 R: Engine and Hardware

The new 1300 R Masterpiece Edition is powered by a 1301cc V-twin motor that produces 178 bhp and a peak torque of 140Nm. The engine is mated with a six-speed gearbox. The New 1300 R Masterpiece Edition claims to reach a top speed of 270km/h and accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds. The new model also features five unique riding modes: street, rain,  sport, performance, and track.

The trellis-frame supported bike has semi-active WP front forks, a steering damper, and a mono-shock at the rear. The barbell of this WP Apex semi-active suspension system has automatic and manual adjustment options available. In manual mode, the rider can modify the suspension as per his preference.

Auto mode enables the motorcycle to automatically adapt to changing road conditions. For braking, the motorcycle features a Brembo Stylema 4-piston disc at the front and a 2-piston disc at the rear.

Brabus 1300 R: Features 

The bike has many features like a bi-directional quick-shifter, ABS, ride modes, heated grips, cruise control, and in-house developed TFT. Additionally, each of the 50 bikes in this lot comes with unique accessories, including a custom-made interior cover and a floor mat for a parking spot in your garage. In addition, each of the 50 owners of this new motorcycle will receive a special guided tour of the BRABUS manufacturer in Bottrop.
