The “Moto Bologna Passione” MBP reveals its ADV bike, powered by a 94hp, 997cc V-twin engine.
The new T1002V adventure bike manufactured by MBP or Moto Bologna Passione has been unveiled. It will be available to buy in the UK in the coming months. The Italian-origin brand will soon debut in India at the next Auto Expo 2023.
MBP T1002V ADV: Engine and Specs
The 997cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine in the MBP T1002V ADV generates 94 horsepower at 7,600 rpm and 102 Nm at 6,500 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The T1002V has the following measurements: 2,245 mm in length, 965 mm in width, 1,450 mm in height, and 1,582 mm for the wheelbase. The fuel tank capacity is 21 liters, the seat height is 820 mm, and the ground clearance is 190 mm. MBP claims the ADV weighs 235 kg, although this is dry weight only and does not include liquids.
MBP T1002V ADV: Features and Colors
The T1002V’s chassis is a perimeter frame supported by a KYB USD fork with preload adjustment up front and a KYB mono-shock at the rear. The T1002V gets wire-spoke wheels from MPB, with the front wheel measuring 19 inches and the rear wheel measuring 17 inches. Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires 120/70-19 up front and 170/60-17 are fitted at the rear. Twin 320mm front discs and a single 260mm rear disc, all with J.Juan calipers and an ABS from Bosch, are responsible for stopping the vehicle.
Most of the weight is concentrated at the front end of the new T1002V, giving it an upright stance. It gets two LED headlamps, a large windscreen, a small beak-like front fender, and a large luggage rack at the rear. The Adventure bike of MBP is available in four colors: Matte Green, Red-MBP, Silver, and Sand.
When released, the BMW F 850 GS and the Triumph Tiger 900 will compete with the MBP T1002V. In the coming months, MBP plans to introduce the T1002V and C1002V cruiser motorcycles in the UK. There is no information on the launch of T1002v in India.

Like Benelli and Moto Morini, the MBP is an Italian brand with Chinese ownership that will be sold in India through AARI (Adishwar Auto Ride India Pvt Ltd), which now sells 26 different bikes from five different bike companies. The M502N, a mid-capacity naked bike, will be the first MBP offering and will be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023.
