The new Diavel V4 of Italian motorbike manufacturer Ducati has been introduced. As the name suggests, the motorcycle uses the Ducati V4 Granturismo engine. The 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 has received improvements to the exterior, chassis, and electronics, apart from a new powerplant.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4: Features and Update
The 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 maintains its presence on the outside thanks to its chiseled fuel tank, large air intake, thin tail section, and wide tyres. The front has dynamic turn indicators on the handlebar, LED headlamps, and double-C-shaped daytime running lights. The motorcycle’s appearance is further enhanced by the new quad-tip design of the exhaust. Available in Exciting Black or Ducati Red exterior colours.
Ducati modified the chassis. The V4 model weighs 223kg, 13kg less than the Diavel 1260S because they switch from the steel trellis frame to the rear subframe. The cantilever-pattern shock and a 50mm inverted fork are fully adjustable.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4: Engine and Specs
The 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine produces 168 horsepower and 126 Nm of peak torque. It consists of a crankshaft that counterrotates, reducing the gyroscopic effect. The engine could lock its two rear cylinders when operating at a constant or low load because it was built to be efficient.
A 5-inch TFT display on the 2023 Ducati Diavel V4’s electronics provides access to telemetry data and riding modes. Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet are all adjusted for engine delivery, traction control, and ABS. Turn-by-turn navigation is possible with Bluetooth connectivity on display.
2023 Ducati Diavel V4: Price and Rivals
Ducati may deliver the Diavel V4 to India in the upcoming months. The 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 should cost more than the Diavel 1260, which has a suggested retail price of Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The newly introduced BMW R 1250 R and Triumph Rocket 3s, as well as other comparable cruisers, are competitors of the 2022 Ducati Diavel V4. Apart from Ducati, many more options are available in 1100cc bikes in India as well.
