5 Most Powerful Bikes in India Under 5 Lakh

From sports bikes to ADVs bikes, here are some of the most powerful bikes in India priced between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Over the past several years, the Indian two-wheeler market has experienced phenomenal growth. This is partly the result of an increase in brand-new models from domestic and international producers. However, most two-wheeler consumers continue to opt for popular or safe options, making it even more challenging to stand out from the crowd.

To help you decide which powerful bike to buy the next time, we’ve listed five exclusive bike models with prices ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

5 Most Powerful Bikes Under 5 Lakh in India

1. Kawasaki Ninja 400

kawasaki ninja bike under 5 lakh

Kawasaki Ninja 400 is number one in India’s most powerful bike under 5 lakh. The bike features LED headlights and taillights and incorporates design elements from the venerable H2. The ninja 400 has a 399cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 49PS at 10,000rpm and 38Nm at 8000 RPM. This power allows the bike to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest bikes in India. The top speed of the motorcycle is recorded as 159.83 Kmph. It starts running as it is a peaky motor after 8000 RPM. And the engine is powerful enough to maintain a top speed of 120 Kmph throughout the day.

Regarding fuel efficiency, it achieved 24.5 km/L in the city and 30.4 km/L on the highway. The bike, coupled with the 14-liter fuel tank, gives it a range of over 300 km. It gets standard dual-channel ABS paired with petal discs at the front and rear, as expected from a premium motorcycle. 41mm telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the back handle ride and handling, respectively. The average price of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 is Rs. 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

2. CFMoto 650NK

sports bike in india under 5 lakh

The second most powerful bike under 5 lakh is the 650cc model CFMoto 650NK. The 650NK is a CKD motorbike, just like other CFMoto models. The 649.3cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine with 61.18PS and 56 Nm of torque sits beneath the KISKA-designed muscular bodywork. Though refinement is not its strong point, the motorcycle can reach 100 Kmph in 5.18 seconds. The 650 NK can reach a top speed of 200 kmph.

Despite the rudimentary telescopic fork and side-mounted monoshock configuration, the 650NK feels nimble and hides its weight effectively. Braking is handled by twin discs up front and a single disc with dual-channel ABS. It has CST radial tyres, a relatively unknown brand that surprised everyone with how well they gripped in the rain. With a suggested retail price of Rs 3.99 lakh, the CFMoto 650NK is one of the best CKD performance motorcycles you can buy.

3. KTM 390 Adventure

powerful bikes in india

Even though the KTM 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh, it earns a place in this list with its performance and compatibility. The adventure motorcycle gets trellis frames, long-travel WP suspension, and dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres, which measure 19-inch front and 17-inch rear. The 373cc engine on the KTM 390 Duke and 390 Adventure produces 44PS and 37 Nm of torque. The 390 Adventure can accelerate to 150 kmph with ease and can do 0 to 100 Kmph in 5.84 seconds.

Electronics on the 390 Adventure include cornering ABS and lean sensing traction control, both of which can be switched off. With its upright riding position, height, adjustable windscreen, and supportive seat, the 390 Adventure is a capable tourer. It looks like the more adaptable and comfortable KTM 390 Duke.

4. Benelli Leoncino 500

naked bikes under 5 lakh

The best Benelli Leoncino 500 is number four in most powerful superbikes. The Bike is impressive in terms of looks, ride quality, and performance. The Leoncino 500’s 500cc parallel-twin motor, which produces 47.5PS and 46Nm, is shared with the larger TRK 502 ADV. You can drive it at a constant speed of 120 kmph, and Bike can achieve a rate of 0 to 100 Kmph in 8.23 seconds. You can move the Leoncino in fifth gear at speeds up to 30 Kmph as the motor is tractable. Although it has a top speed of over 150 kmph, it is not exceptionally comfortable to do so due to the lack of wind protection.

Even though it has scrambler looks, the Leoncino doesn’t have dual-purpose tyres and more extended suspension travel. It is a naked motorcycle priced under Rs. 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

5. BMW G 310 GS

bmw bike under 5 lakh

The G 310 GS is the smallest capacity ADV offered by BMW Motorrad in India. Despite having the GS designation, it lacks spoke wheels and instead gets alloy wheels, making it less of a true ADV. However, the Metzeler Tourance tyres do an excellent job of keeping composure and are capable enough for the occasional trail run. The engine is highly efficient for its displacement, which provides a mileage of 37.39 km (city) and 31.94 km (highway). So, despite the modest 11-liter fuel tank, long-distance travel should be relatively easy.

The engine also offers quick acceleration; It takes just 7.57 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 Kmph. The engine tends to rattle at higher rates despite having a respectable top speed of 132 kmph. The ideal speed limit is between 80 and 90 Kmph. The 313cc, single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine produces 34PS and 28Nm, which is the same as its naked twin, the G 310 R. Dual-channel ABS is installed, although you can switch it off at the rear to slide on mud. , Overall, if you want a modest off-roader with solid touring credentials that is a GS, then the BMW G 310 GS bike under 5 lakh is a good investment.

The above list shows the most powerful bikes under five lakh in India ready to take on an adventure trip.
