Royal Enfield is expanding its motorcycle segment and will launch new models soon—the fourth 650cc model of the RE company. The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been spotted testing for the first time.
The company is planning to launch many motorcycles in different segments. It is no secret that RE is working on several models based on its 650cc bike segment. The test mule of the Classic 650 has been seen for the first time. The all-new RE Classic 650 is likely to be launched next year.
Royal Enfield Classic 650: What to expect?
The design of the upcoming Royal Enfield has been revealed. The Classic 650 is inspired by the Classic 350 currently on sale in India. However, the new LED headlights are a welcome addition to RE’s other 650cc models. It has conventional telescopic front forks, spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear, wire-spoke wheels, and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield Classic 650: Engine
The upcoming RE Classic 650 is powered by the same 650cc parallel-twin, air- and oil-cooled fuel-injected engine. It also powers the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650. The Classic 650 motor produces 46.3 bhp and 52.3 nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Royal Enfield Classic 650: Launch And Price
The upcoming RE Classic 650 is currently in the initial road-testing stage. The production-ready motorcycle is expected to arrive in India this year or next. If we talk about the price of the upcoming RE is Rs 3 lakh ex-showroom. Hopefully, the marque will survive and have no direct rivals in India.
