Another day has passed, and another sighting of the imminent Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC has been spotted. Ahead of its release this year, ADV has been spotted recently, suggesting it’s getting closer to being ready for production.

The premium Showa USD fork seen in the new spy photos appears to be a tab-like thing, which could either indicate that the forks are adjustable or simply that the Showa branding is emerging.

It is unlikely that Royal Enfield bikes will offer adjustable suspension on the standard model of its future adventure bikes as the function will be more suited to the ‘Rally’ trim coming later.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC: Engine and Specs

The Himalayan 450 LC will be powered by a 450cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, a first for Royal Enfield. Performance-wise, we expect the ADV to put out power and torque numbers comparable to its main rival, the KTM 390 Adventure, which has a 43.5PS and 37Nm engine.

But, unlike the 390, we expect Royal Enfield to tune the motor for a somewhat more similar riding experience. In addition, we recently saw the circular, fully digital LCD console featured on the ADV.

We estimate the ex-showroom Delhi price of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC to be around Rs.3 lakh. It will compete with models like Hero XPulse 400 and KTM 390 Adventure. While this is one exciting motorcycle to speculate about, keep watching Bikechuno know about more exciting new two-wheelers.
