In India, the two-wheeler market is still widely used, and many products are still available. March will be no exception, as several models are lined up for this month’s launch. The models already unveiled and released are listed below, and we are waiting for deliveries to begin. Apart from these, some models have been introduced abroad and are now being sold in India.
Honda 100cc Commuter Bike
Honda is set to introduce its rival Hero Splendor on 15th March this month. Though the TVC of the next commuter motorcycle has already been made public, nothing else is known about it. Honda already sells the CD110 and the Livo in the 100-110cc segment, so the same engine will likely power the upcoming commuter bike. We expect its body to be similar to that of the Honda Shine.
TVS iQube ST
TVS iQube is one of the most popular electric products from the TVS Motors. The brand has sold over 10,000 copies in the past four months due to its immense popularity. Three versions of the redesigned iQube are offered: Base, S, and ST. The ST variant is currently awaiting launch, though the base and S variants have already gone on sale. As sources have indicated that the top-spec electric scooters will appear soon, March 2023 could mark the model’s official launch from the brand.
2023 KTM ADV 390
The KTM ADV 390 is another model that Indians love, and it served as the entry point for many into the adventurous world of KTM. KTM bikes just revised the model for the international market, and we expect to see the same here. The ADV390 is believed to be produced at a Bajaj-owned Indian manufacturing facility.
The KTM ADV 390 gets an update that includes spoke wheels and pre-load and rebound modes for the front shocks. In addition, a new color option is available.
Triumph Street Triple Range
Triumph unveiled its new Street Triple line in November 2022 for the international market. These high-end naked motorcycles have received several updates, and even the engines are now more powerful than before. In addition to switchable traction control settings, four riding modes, a redesigned free-flowing exhaust, and a bi-directional quick-shifter are now included in the basic upgrade. The most likely date for the new speed triple line launch in India is March 2023.
Royal Enfield 650 Twins: Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650
The Continental GT 650 and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 have served as the epitome of elegance for RE bikes. Recently, both motorcycles received updates for the international market, including new alloy wheels, color options, and LED headlights. The India-spec model is also expected to include these upgrades, and the revised motorcycles launch is likely to happen this month itself.
