TVS Motor Company has announced the addition of the Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXconnect variant, expanding its TVS Jupiter lineup. This new variant is a feature compared to the previous versions and is now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.84,468 in Delhi.
Based on the previous TVS Jupiter model, this Jupiter ZX model gets a new variant Starlight Blue color option, while an exclusive new color called Olive Gold has been introduced. Enhanced connectivity features for a more tech-savvy ride, this variant brings integrated SmartXonnect technology. We list down the top five highlights of the scooter.
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Features
One of the primary updates to the Jupiter ZX drums is the list of new features. With these features, the user experience should improve with SMS call alerts, voice assist, and turn-by-turn navigation on the instrument cluster, giving you access to SmartXonnect technology. Furthermore, it also has an integrated USB mobile charging port for added convenience.
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Design
The new TVS Jupiter SmartXonnect has taken design cues from its existing lineup. Thus, the same family-friendly bodywork with the large front panel with turn indicators. Also, there has been a change in the side panel, headlight, and wide seat. But now it comes in a new color scheme of Olive Gold. Apart from the front apron, front fenders, and rear side panels, the entire exterior bodywork has been painted the same color as the previous one, while the rest of the body gets a beige shade. It is available with a Starlight Blue paint scheme.
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Engine
The TVS Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect variant gets the exact engine specifications, a 109.7cc single-cylinder engine that generates maximum power of 7.77 bhp and peak torque of 8.8 Nm. It gets 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear with a braking system SBT. Features include Jupiter ZX Drum USB charging port, an under-seat storage compartment with a capacity of 21 liters, a retractable hook for carrying bags, and an external fuel cap. The Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect offers an excellent mix of performance, convenience, and usability while ensuring a seamless experience.
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Hardware
Regarding hardware, the TVS Jupiter ZX Drum has SmartXonnect telescopic front forks and a mono-shock. Braking duties include drum brakes at both ends. In contrast, the safety net has a combined braking system. There is also the option of a disc brake as a separate variant. There are 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends. TVS Jupiter’s kerb weight has 107 kg.
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Price
TVS has priced the Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXnect at Rs. 84,468 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Meanwhile, the base variant is priced at Rs. 73,240. The top Classic model costs Rs. 89,648 (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect – Rivals
