Deliveries of the Ultraviolette F77 have begun in Bengaluru, and the company plans to grow domestically and internationally.
Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd.’s F77 high-performance electric motorcycle has finally been launched in Bengaluru. The first customer deliveries of the F77 are being done at the company’s Bengaluru production site. According to Ultraviolette bikes, this achievement marks the beginning of the company’s next phase of development, which will include establishing a national dealership and service network. The business will also focus on expanding its global footprint as it expects demand for the F77 to increase.
Ultraviolette intends to raise USD 120 million in a fresh round of funding to support domestic dealerships and a subsequent phase of international expansion. So far, investment firms such as EXOR Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, TVS Motor Company, Zoho Corp, Gofrugal Technologies, and Speciale Invest have contributed over USD 55 million to the company.
Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike: Details
Airstrike, Shadow, and Lazer are the three F77 performance electric motorcycle variants. Two versions of each are available, the F77 and the F77 Recon. The Recon’s declared range is 307 km, compared to the IDC range of 206 km for the normal F77. Ultraviolet’s official website accepts bookings. The price of the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike ranges from Rs 3.8 lakh for the base model to Rs 4.55 lakh for the Recon.
The Recon gets a 10.3 kWh battery pack, while the base model gets a 7.1 kWh battery pack. The Recon’s 38.9 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque enable it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3 seconds. The F77 range has many tech features, including a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, 4G SIM supporting OTA updates, LED illumination, and reverse mode.
