Electric car maker Stella Automobili is based in Kolkata. It currently offers two electric bikes in India. While nothing has been said about any future EV bikes, their electric bike segment has only been around for two years, so we can only wait.
Stella Automobili EV Vehicles
Part of the renowned Zaidka Group, Stella Automobili is an automotive manufacturer headquartered in Kolkata. The group has nearly 100 years of experience in the automotive industry. The Zaidka Group has been manufacturing electric three-wheelers since 2017. They started production of electric two-wheelers under the Stella Automobili brand in 2020.
At present, a total of 20,000 automobiles can be produced at Zaidka’s two factories in the country, located in Howrah (West Bengal) and Hosur (Tamil Nadu). Stella Automobili currently has two electric bikes that are available in India:
Stella Electric Scooter SA1000
A 250-watt motor powers the entry-level SA1000 electric scooter. Lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries are available as options. As compared to the latter, the former takes around 3-4 hours to get fully charged.
The SA1000 has a range of 60-70 km on a single charge. Stylish headlights, drum brakes, alloy rims, a double shocker with twin-tube technology, and an anti-theft alarm are further features.
Stella Electric Scooter SA2000
The SA2000 is an improvement over the SA1000 and uses the same motor as its sister, with the option of either a lead-acid or lithium-ion battery. Front disc brakes, daytime running lights, a large storage area, USB charging, and a digital LED display are all included.

Stella Electric Scooter SA3000
The SA3000 Electric Scooter is currently not available due to low production. However, Stella has started its production in Mysore and will soon be available in the market to enhance the aesthetics of Indian rides.
