In Thailand, a new model Dark Blast variant of the Yamaha MT-03 has been launched. This MT-03 variant, priced at Rs 4.26 lakhs, gets new color schemes to differentiate it from other models. The updated model in Thailand has the same paint job as the MT-03, which was released in compliance with Euro 5.
Yamaha MT-03: Colors
The first color is grey, which resembles the 2021 model but has cyan wheels as opposed to red in the earlier model. The outside of the motorcycle is covered in gray decoration with red and cyan motifs. Also, the earlier model’s blue/grey paint scheme has been replaced with a full-black color option for the MT-03 Dark Blast Edition.
The MT-03 Dark Blast variant is the one the bike earlier delivered with these new color possibilities. It is powered by a 321cc parallel-twin engine that produces 42 horsepower and 29.6 pound-feet of torque, which competes directly with the KTM 390 Duke. The features include dual-channel ABS, full LCD instrumentation, which the bike could have upgraded with a TFT panel to increase the value, and full LED illumination.
Though Yamaha Bikes in India has started showing interest in the luxury two-wheeler market, the MT-03 is not likely to hit India anytime soon. The company recently opened its flagship Blue Square dealership in Mumbai to upgrade each showroom to a first-class facility. Some of the other popular 350cc bikes in the Indian market include the Honda CB350, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
