Upcoming Commuter Bikes In India 

TVS Fiero 125 

TVS is currently in the process of developing a new 125cc motorcycle, the Fiero 125. The upcoming TVS Fiero 125 will be a new commuter bike in India. This bike will be similar to the TVS Fiero Concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. The expected launch date of Fiero 125 is jan 2025. The upcoming Fiero 125cc model will feature retro styling elements like prominent circular sleek LED tail lamps at the front, LED headlamps, and a fully digital instrument cluster. We expect the Fiero 125cc to be priced as a premium bike. This is compared with other entry-level 125cc motorcycles like Hero, Bajaj, and Honda.

TVS Raider 125 Flex-Fuel

A flex-fuel version of TVS Raider 125 was showcased at India Mobility Expo 2024 and is expected to be launched in October 2024. The motorcycle uses TVS's Flex Fuel Technology (FFT). It allows blending up to 85 percent ethanol—the upcoming flex-fuel version of TVS Raider 125, the best premium commuter bike in India.

In addition to the updated flex-fuel-compliant engine. The flex-fuel version of the TVS Raider 125 remains unchanged.  It is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that allows ethanol fuel blends from E20 to E85. It generates maximum power of 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm and peak torque of 11.2Nm at 6,000rpm. The bike engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The Raider 125 has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tyres. Meanwhile, a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear carry out the suspension duties.

Bajaj Pulsar N125

Bajaj Pulsar N125 has been spotted testing, and the spy shots provide valuable information about the bike. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125 will have the same design language as the Pulsar N150. Bajaj Pulsar N125 is expected to launch in October 2024. In terms of design, it will have the same chassis and components as the Pulsar N150 and will feature sharp front LED headlamps, split seats, and other similar design elements.

It will probably have the same 124.45cc engine as the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. This engine makes around 11.9 bhp of max power and 11 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
