KTM has launched the special edition RC390 and RC200 in the Indian market. These models are inspired by RC16 MotoGP racing bikes. The new GP special edition variants will be sold along with the existing KTM RC range at Rs 214688. Thus, the KTM RC390 GP will be available in the Indian market at Rs. 3,16,070. While KTM will sell the RC200 GP at Rs. 2,14,688.
Some new changes include adding the orange base paint and unique visible on the fairing and front fender. The mechanical feature and specifications list remain unaltered.
KTM RC200 and RC390 Specification
KTM RC 200-GP Edition Engine and Transmission: It is powered by a 199.5 cc engine and puts the power of 25 PS. Torque remains at 19.2 Nm at 8000 rpm. Max Power 25PS at 10,000rpm, Peak Torque 19.2Nm at 8,000rpm, Frame – Split-Trellis frame, Front Suspension 43mm WP APEX USD forks, Brakes Disc (F: 320mm, R: 230mm) and Rear Suspension 10-step adjustable WP APEX Monoshock.
KTM RC390 Engine and Transmission: It is powered by a 373.3cc engine, Liquid cooling, one single, max power 43.5PS at 9,000rpm, Peak Torque 37Nm at 7,000rpm, Frame Split-Trellis frame, Front Suspension 43mm WP APEX USD forks, Rear Suspension 10-step adjustable WP APEX Monoshock and Brake Disc (F: 320mm, R: 230mm).
The KTM RC 390 GP and the RC 200 GP’s pricing make these bikes more interesting propositions; both the motorcycles are finished in the signature KTM orange color with contrasting black stickers, including WP suspension, Pankl racing systems, Motorex Oil, and Akrapovic. Both motorcycles use a 6-speed transmission. No mechanical changes have to be made to either of the bikes.
KTM RC 390 and RC200 Price and Rivals-
KTM RC 390 in India (ex-showroom) is priced at Rs 3.14000. The RC 390 rival the Kawasaki Ninja 300 (ex-showroom) priced at Rs. 3.37000 and TVS Apache RR 310 ( ex-showroom) priced at Rs. 2,65,000.
The RC 200 retails priced at Rs 2,14,688 (ex-showroom). It does not have any direct rivals. But if you’re looking for a more comfortable commuter bike, you can opt for the bajaj Rs 200 or Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
