At least two or three more Royal Enfield upcoming bikes are expected to be released in 2024; However, the exact launch dates have yet to be known.
In February 2024, Royal Enfield recorded sales of 75,935 motorcycles, resulting in a growth of 6% year-on-year. The company sold a total of 71,544 units, including both domestic and export sales, in the same period last year. In February this year, Royal Enfield Bikes sold 67,922 units in the domestic market.
Since the brand sold 64,436 units in February last year, this grew 5% year-on-year. The Chennai-based bike maker exported 8,013 motorcycles the previous month, compared to 7,108 in February last year. As a result, sales increased by 13% year over year.
Royal Enfield 350cc models drive sales
Most of Royal Enfield’s production is still taken up by its 350cc series, which includes the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350. Of the 64,810 units sold in February last year, 66,157 bikes in the 350 cc range were shipped last month, showing a growth of 2% year-on-year.
Along with the Himalayan 450 and Scram 411, the remaining models – especially the 650 cc lineup, including the Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, and Shotgun – generated a monthly sales volume of 9,778 units in February. Enfield sold 6,734 units in the region in the same time frame, leading to a notable 45% gain year-on-year.
The Shotgun 650 was introduced at the beginning of the year, priced between Rs 3.59 lakh and Rs 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield will introduce several models in the coming months, including the Bobber 350, Scram 450, Roadster 450 and the Scrambler 650.
